Made to order is not a delay. It is the point.

Half of what we sell does not exist yet when you order it. A Gemini cockpit enters a production queue in a workshop in Cabrera de Mar and gets laid up by hand, on a bladder made for your exact size, by one of two brothers. A Quick Pro frameset is built to your fit. Custom Bioracer kit is cut to your riders' actual measurements. None of this can be rushed, and none of it should be.

What the wait buys

A warehouse part is built to a forecast — someone guessed how many riders of your size would want one, and you get whatever tolerance survived the production run. A made-to-order part is built to an order: your width, your steerer, your routing, checked before it enters production. When there are perhaps a dozen people in the world who can make a monocoque handlebar properly, you wait for one of them or you buy something else.

The wait is also why the parts hold their value. Gemini does not permit public discounting of its products anywhere, by anyone — a component worth its price in March is worth it in November. We think that is correct, and it is one reason we do not discount either.

What we owe you in exchange

Patience deserves honesty. So the deal, in writing, is this: we quote the lead time before you commit, we take payment only after you have it, we tell you when your order enters production, and we tell you if it slips — you will never have to chase us. Made-to-order production runs to the manufacturer's schedule, not ours, and we would rather give you an honest date than an optimistic one.

When you need it now

Some things we simply stock: Wove saddles, Cádomotus shoes and helmets, the accessories worth having on a shelf. In-stock items dispatch within one business day. Every product page tells you which world it lives in before you buy — look for “in stock” or the lead-time note.

If you need a part next week, tell us; sometimes we can help, and we will tell you honestly when we cannot. If you want a cockpit most riders in your group cannot identify, laid up by hand, by name — the queue is where that starts.
