The house opens two new rooms

Two doors that didn't exist last week.

The builder

Most bikes are sold as a spec sheet somebody else decided. Ours aren't — that's rather the whole point of the houses. So we built a room where you assemble yours: a Quick Pro frame on the stand, then wheels from No.6, OVERFAST or Monókeros, a Gemini cockpit, a Wove saddle, the drivetrain — each part shown, priced, and added to one cart as one build.

Pick the ER:ONE and you can walk through its colorways and watch the frame change — Cracked Ice Blue, Starlight White, Midnight Dark.

The fit room

Before you build, measure. Two numbers — height and inseam — and your discipline, and the fit room hands you a frame size, a crank length and a saddle height, from the formulas fitters actually start from. Triathletes get the short-crank bias that lets you hold aero without your knees arguing with your chest. If it points you below 165 mm, note that OVERFAST machines lengths from 155 — one of the few houses anywhere that does.

A formula gets you to the neighborhood; a fitting gets you to the door. The calculator will tell you the same thing.

The list

Both rooms are behind the simplest door in the house: your email. Occasional letters about new houses and arrivals — nothing else, as always.

Systems of uncommon velocity.
