AeroCoach
A testing company that started making parts because the parts it needed didn't exist.
AeroCoach did not begin as a component brand. It began as a laboratory. Dr Xavier Disley — a time trial rider with a doctorate and a Masters world title in the individual pursuit — set up a consultancy in Droitwich to measure what actually makes cyclists faster, and it grew into the highest-volume cycling aerodynamics testing service in the world.
The client list runs from local time triallists to Tour de France stage winners, Olympic and World champions, national federations and WorldTour teams. Testing happens in wind tunnels, on indoor and outdoor velodromes, and in CFD. Thousands of riders, measured properly.
The products came out of that. When you spend years watching where drag actually comes from, you notice the things nobody makes: extensions with the right shape and the right adjustability, a wheel that behaves in real crosswinds rather than in a tunnel, a chainring that saves what it claims to save. So they built them.
They publish the data
This is the part that matters, and it is rarer than it should be.
AeroCoach publishes its test results openly — tyre rolling-resistance datasets, wind tunnel comparisons between competing products, explainers on UCI position rules. Including results that do not flatter their own products. In an industry where almost every aerodynamic claim is marketing produced by the company making the claim, a firm that shows its working is worth paying attention to.
We carry them for the same reason we publish verified weights rather than claimed ones. If a number cannot be checked, it is decoration.
The range
Ascalon aerobar extensions, in carbon and in titanium — the products AeroCoach is best known for, and the ones people ask for by name. Available with adapters for most base bars and a full system of bridges, wedges, stackers and plates for dialling in a position.
AEOX carbon wheelsets, developed for real-world conditions rather than tunnel-optimal ones.
Aten chainrings, Ornix handlebars, the Axis saddle, and Lann and Blitz track bars in carbon and titanium.
Plus the parts that make the difference between a cockpit that works and one that nearly works: angled spacers, micro-adjust spacers, computer mounts, hydration mounts.
Why we insist on fitting this one
Aerobars cannot be sold like a saddle. Ordering the wrong thing here is not a small mistake.
Your extensions need an adapter matched to your specific base bar. The tilt angle has to suit your position, not somebody else's. Reach and stack have to be checked against the UCI height categories if you race under them. Get any of it wrong and you have an unusable cockpit and an expensive part that cannot go back.
So we don't sell AeroCoach blind. Tell us your bike — make, model, year, base bar — and what you're trying to do with the position. We work out what actually fits, quote it properly, and set it up when it arrives.

What to expect
Most of this range is ordered from the UK to your specification rather than held on a shelf. Lead times vary from a few days on common parts to several months on track wheelsets. We'll tell you before you commit, and we'll tell you if it slips.
