Bioracer

Custom kit, made in Belgium. Your club's design, your riders' measurements.

Bioracer was founded in 1986 in Tessenderlo, in the Belgian cycling heartland, by Raymond Vanstraelen — a former amateur racer with 72 wins — together with sports physician Yvan Van Mol. It did not begin as a clothing company. It began as a biomechanical bike-fitting system, built to measure and study the athlete in motion. The clothing came afterwards, and it has never stopped being downstream of the measurement.

 That order of operations still defines them. Bioracer moved early to precision mannequins, then to 3D body scanning and wind tunnel testing, and is a shareholder in the Flanders Bike Valley wind tunnel. The company reports more than 1,300 medals at Olympic Games, World and European Championships in its kit. It supplies national federations and WorldTour teams, and it does so quietly — Bioracer has spent four decades being the label inside jerseys that carry someone else's name on the outside.

 For a club, none of that is the point. The point is that the same production line that dresses national teams will make sixty jerseys for your Sunday group, in your design, in your riders' actual sizes.

What we do

 We manage the whole thing from Caguas.

Design.Your identity, your sponsors, your colours. We work through the artwork with you before anything is committed.

 Fit. A full size-run sample set lives in the showroom. Your riders try on real garments in real sizes before a single piece is ordered. This is not optional and it is not a formality — custom kit cannot be returned, and a rider in the wrong size is a rider who never wears it.

 Range. Road, triathlon and time trial, plus a complete athletics line and team sportswear. Jerseys, bibs, skinsuits, tri suits, gilets, jackets, arm and leg warmers, socks, caps, base layers. Chamois upgrades to Vapor or Wave Split. Individual rider names on garments.

 Delivery. We quote a lead time in writing, we tell you when the order enters production, and we tell you the truth if it slips.

 How it works

1,Talk to us. Club name, discipline, roughly how many riders, when you need it.

2.We quote. Itemised, in writing, with the lead time stated. Design. We iterate the artwork until you approve it.

3.Size session. Your riders try the samples. In Caguas, or we bring them to you.

4.Deposit and order. Fifty percent to enter production.

 5.Delivery. Balance on collection.

Minimum order is six pieces. Per-piece pricing improves substantially at 30, at 50, and again at 300 — if your club is close to a break, tell us and we will show you what crossing it is worth.

Custom garments are made to your specification and cannot be returned or exchanged. We say this here rather than burying it in a policy page, because it is the reason the size session exists.
