The wheel industry has a truth problem. Claimed weights are optimistic, tolerances go unstated, and the number on the website is rarely the number on the scale.

 No.6 publishes weights with tolerances. The Superlight Climb is 1040g ±20g. The Pulsar Disc is 890g ±20g. When we receive them, we weigh them ourselves, and we publish what our scale says.

The range

 28/28 Superlight Climb — 1040g ±20g, 28/28mm depth, 24mm internal / 30mm external. For riders whose races are decided going up.

42/48 Superlight All Round — 1145g ±20g, 42/48mm, 26/24mm internal. The one wheel for riders who only want one wheel.

 52/58 Superlight Aero — 1267g ±20g, 52/58mm, carbon spokes. 58/65 Superlight Aero+ — 1349g ±20g, 58/65mm, carbon spokes. Deep enough to matter, still rideable in Caribbean crosswinds.

 G45R and G45W Aero Gravel — 1195g and 1255g ±20g. The R at 45/45mm; the W at 32mm internal / 38mm external for larger volume tyres.

 Pulsar Disc — 890g ±20g, full disc. Time trial and triathlon.

 Pulsar A3RO Trispoke — 76mm trispoke.

 Spares are stocked properly: replacement spokes across every depth, rims, the Zero Gravity freehub with Tripeak ceramic bearings, the Vapor 45T ratchet, tubeless valve kits, and bearing sets. A wheel you cannot service is a wheel with an expiry date.

 

Choosing

 Depth is a trade between drag and handling, and the right answer depends on where you ride and how much you weigh. If you are riding the north coast in a crosswind at 60kg, the deepest wheel is not the fastest wheel. Talk to us before you spend.
