Chainrings with the leading edges shaped rather than stamped.
Most chainrings are a flat plate with teeth cut into it. The aero profile on this one is milled to reduce the disturbance the ring creates as it rotates through the air behind your leg — a small number on its own, and a real one over five hours.
Machined from 7075-T651, the aerospace-grade aluminium used where fatigue strength matters. BCD 110 × 4-bolt, so it fits standard Shimano four-arm cranks and the Aerox. Prefer grams to watts? The Hollow style carves away everything that does not carry load.
Specification

Which one?
50/34 if you climb more than you sprint, or if your local roads go up steeply. 52/36 if you spend your time on flat and rolling terrain and want the top end. If you are unsure, we will look at your power numbers and the routes you actually ride.
